Personal experiences

“Running became part of my life to show me that some seemingly impossible dreams can be achieved through staunch training. I am happy when I run.”

This is a photo from the finishing line of my first 21 km race, Adidas Rosario 2017, together with my friend Betina Lorenzo.

“Despite having practiced sports for most of my life, some years ago, I went through a phase of inactivity and a lot of stress. A friend of mine recommended that I try running; at firstI was skeptical, but years later I’m still running.
Running is not a sport; it’s a way of life. You run with your body, heart and soul. Running is chasing your dreams. It’s knowing where to find happiness, leaving behind affliction and routine. It’s accepting the challenge and defying limits. It’s progress.

I run because it makes me feel young. It allows me to get to know new places and revisit others from a different perspective. To put it simply, running makes me feel more alive than ever. When I feel bad, I run to feel good; when I feel good, I run to feel better.

This picture is from my second half-marathon in Rio de Janeiro 2017, an incredible experience of running along the ocean.

“Running gives me the chance to resume an active lifestyle, to balance body and soul, something which the daily grind and responsibilities would otherwise make me neglect.
